Cost: Free for veterans and those receiving benefits or £50 per online module, £210 self learning modules plus 2x90 min coach support sessions or £270 self learning modules plus 3/90 min coach sessions
New Ways for Families® is an exciting new parenting skills course developed in the USA and now being rolled out across the UK for parents who are separating.

Safeguarding Measures
All learners once enquired about the course, receive a one to one telephone call from a member of the team, to discuss the suitability of the course, basic course content, how the course operates etc. They then sign a learning agreement. This covers safeguarding matters.

Providers Qualifications
The training is provided through licence by the High Conflict Institute in America, and learners receive a certificate upon completion.
Tools & Skills Learnt
The course includes 10 online training modules supported by 3 coaching sessions. Parents practice skills learnt on the online course with their coach and integrate them into real life circumstances.
The key skills learners will get from the training are based around dealing with High Conflict Situations, and focus on Managing Emotions, Moderating Behaviours, Flexible Thinking and Checking Yourself. The course covers:
New Ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving, rather than focusing on the past or blaming each other
New Ways of making decisions
New Ways of emailing/texting using a BIFF Response
New Ways of communicating verbally with EAR Statements
New Ways of reducing stress
All of the above by consciously practicing the 4 Big Skills of managing emotions, having moderate behaviors, using flexible thinking, and checking yourself as mentioned above
